I’ve always had a weakness for cinnamon and this delicious recipe hits the spot every time. I’ve come across so many different recipes that include cinnamon and apple, but I think I’ve found a winner.
Whenever boredom strikes I find myself in the kitchen backing up something yummy and creating recipes that are always sure to please. The problem is I’ll end up with all of these awesome treats, but I can’t and won’t keep them to myself. This particular recipe can definitely be given as a gift. I like to serve it with a hot cup of coffee or slice it up and serve it for brunch.
This is one of the most easiest recipes you’ll ever try. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

Apple Cinnamon Bread
Prep: Pre-heat oven to 350, grease and flour loaf pan then set aside
Cook time: 45-55 minutes
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup Butter, softened (1stick)
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1 large apple peeled and chopped into small pieces
In a small bowl mix brown sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
In another bowl mix white sugar and softened butter together until smooth and creamy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, them ad vanilla extract.
Combine the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl and gradually combine into the bowl of butter and sugar mixture. Mix well then add milk and mix until smooth.
Pour half of the batter into a loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the chopped apples on top, then sprinkle half of the cinnamon/brown sugar mixture on top.
Pour the remaining batter on top and repeat the apple and cinnamon/brown sugar steps.
Bake for about 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean at 350
