The Balancing Act

Work, school, parenting… how does one balance all of this and not pass out from exhaustion or throw in the towel for that matter!?!

My personal suggestion…Prayers or meditation and making the choice to be happy today. You ever wake up and automatically feel the burdens of your life weighing down on you the moment you awaken?? That’s my friends is called anxiety, aka stress, aka depression. These are the things that can keep you in that space and not allow you to start your day on a good note.

I’m not saying that this is going to work for you, but it sure as heck works for me! As soon as I get up I immediately get on my knees and start to pray. If anyone besides myself is awake in the house I find a quiet room in the house and begin to have a personal conversation with God. This really does help me to get out of that sad mood.

As the day goes by you face the realities of the work place, school, parenting and in some cases marriage. It’s very important that you take time for yourself to relax and relieve stress. This could come from reading a book, going on a “get away “, or breaking a sweat at the gym. Whatever works for you!

I personally enjoy getting it in at the gym. It gives me so much energy and helps me to clear my mind.

At the end of the day, do whatever helps you to keep the balance in your life.

I hope this helps you because it always helps me.
